Lauren Kretzmer, LCSW

Lauren believes that all individuals are capable of healing and finding peace and harmony in their lives. Lauren has been on a journey of spiritual discovery for well over 16 years that lead her on a unique journey through many different experiences. These experiences combined with the study of neurobiology and the bioenergetic makeup of the body have shown Lauren that healing is not just a one thing fits all type of experience. It is not just faith, and it is not just science that allows for our mind-body-soul connection to come back into a coherent state. In fact, there are many ways in which our body is brought into an incoherent state that allows dis-ease and negative symptoms to emerge. When we start to recognize our symptoms as a participant in our healing journey, it vastly changes the way we think, feel and ultimately allow ourselves to heal. Lauren has her Masters of Social Work and Minor in Aging and Health from Rutgers University and holds her LCSW in both NJ and PA. Lauren has extensive experience working through trauma recovery with children, adolescents and adults. Lauren is trained in somatic work, EMDR and IFS. She is a certified master practitioner of EFT (aka Tapping), certified in grief and loss and trauma recovery. Lauren recently completed training as a practitioner of ATB (Aleph-Tav Body Systems). Lauren will be attending a practitioner training of craniosacral fascia therapy at the end of 2024 and continues to explore techniques, modalities and new theories that come into our world as knowledge is an ever growing field. Lauren specializes in trauma work, anxiety, PTSD, complex-PTSD and more.
